This was another fun project to work on while at Cregan Design. Sam Houston Area Council Boys Scouts of America hired us to design their annual report. They let us use our creativity but asked that we somehow emphasize their new building, using either a photo or an illustration. We came up with the idea of illustrating the building as a patch. I created a series of patterns to be used as a background on the intro pages with a photo framed in a stitched-like border, just like a patch. I then used some of their patches throughout the layout. This annual report won the 42nd Houston Advertising Federation Addy Award in the category of Public Service.
